I dislike the term “midlife crisis”. Many of the things attributed to a “Midlife crisis” are actually just people having enough money to live how they want. Still a funny plate though.

My hypothesis is that the “midlife crisis” has nothing to do with age.  It’s because that’s the time in a guy’s life when the kids are finally gone and he has money to spend on himself again.  I (thankfully) never had kids and I’ve been buying fun cars and motorcycles my whole life.

Nah.  I’m 41 and grew up on both of those bands.  In HIGH SCHOOL, yes, it was all grunge and gangsta rap, but someone in their mid-40’s who graduated in 92 or so will absolutely have some late ‘80s hair bands in their playlist.
